The Moscow-based manufacturer AM.TECH has confirmed the Russian origin of the industrial 3D printer AMT-32, designed for mass production of large metal parts. The equipment has been included in the registry of domestic industrial products. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. Anatoly Garbuzov.
This year, the company launched production of additive equipment for metal printing using selective laser melting technology at the Moscow Digital Plant. The launch was the result of extensive research and development efforts.
“The company continues to develop a domestic range of equipment for metal 3D printing — from compact solutions to industrial systems for the serial production of large parts. The printer featured in the company’s portfolio, equipped with two lasers each with a power of 500 watts, is designed for intensive use and allows increased efficiency in the production process. Confirmation of Russian origin and inclusion in the register of domestic industrial products strengthen the position of the metropolitan development in the market and facilitate its implementation in projects of local customers,” said Anatoly Garbuzov.
The AMT-32 was included in the register of Russian industrial products in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 719. The equipment meets the established criteria and expands the possibilities for its application in industrial projects.
The printer is equipped with a dual-laser system that allows processing different build areas simultaneously, thereby increasing productivity. The enhanced three-stage filtration system ensures stable operation of the equipment during intensive printing. This configuration is designed for long continuous operation and serial production of parts.
Previously, the registry included the AMT-16 3D printer — a compact machine from the same company for metal printing.
A 3D printer produced in the capital received official status as Russian equipment
Both devices operate using selective laser melting technology. At the same time, the models are oriented towards tasks of different scales. The AMT-16 is a compact system designed for scientific research and experimental design work, prototyping, manufacturing small parts, and producing small batches. The AMT-32 is a higher-performance unit for serial production of large parts, designed for long printing cycles.
The new innovative equipment produced in the capital, thanks to the use of selective laser melting technology of metal powders layer by layer, significantly expands the capabilities of 3D printing for parts used in medicine, mechanical engineering, aerospace, and other high-tech industries. The manufacturer’s devices are supplied to more than 20 regions of the country.
Moscow is the largest industrial and scientific-engineering center of Russia. Approximately 150 technological enterprises open annually in the city. Currently, 4,735 industrial companies operate in the capital, employing 767 thousand people. Today, manufacturers have access to more than 20 effective support measures, including an investment lending program, tax preferences, and other tools.
