As part of the visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, the delegation of the Central African Republic visited KAMAZ. The Ambassador of the CAR to Russia, Leon Dodonu-Punag Aza, noted the scale of the company and expressed interest in cooperation.
The delegation was led by the State Minister, head of the Personal Office of the President of the Central African Republic, Maleiombo Donatien. He was accompanied by the minister’s assistant Gondamo Prince Victorien Edli, the Republic’s ambassador to Russia Leon Dodonu-Punag Aza, CAR project manager Aimonche August, and the representative of the Central African Republic embassy in Tatarstan, Ekaterina Lonskaya. The guests visited the main productions of KAMAZ: the Automobile Plant, the Engine Plant, KAMA DIESEL, and the Cab Frame Plant. They also became acquainted with the company’s history at the KAMAZ Visitor Center. The delegation was impressed by the scale of production and modern technologies.
As noted by the State Minister of the Central African Republic, Maleiombo Donatien, the visit to the factory demonstrates an interest in partnership. The trip will promote cooperation at the level of states and businesses. “As a representative of the Central African Republic in Russia, I will tell my colleagues about this huge automobile production, one of the largest in the world”, – in turn emphasized Ambassador of the Central African Republic to Russia Leon Dodonu-Punag Aza.
