As part of a working visit to Togliatti, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Albert Karimov, visited JSC VIS. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade supported the initiative to create the complex in March 2024, providing appropriate support through R&D subsidies. With this tool, the enterprise successfully upgraded and commissioned a modern factory laboratory and testing complex designed to develop domestic competencies in the field of hydraulic brake systems. Now, a full cycle of testing and measurements can be conducted on five specialized stands at this facility. In addition, the laboratory has capabilities for conducting geometric measurements, physico-mechanical, chemical, and metallographic tests.

JSC “VIS” is among the enterprises participating in the Automotive Industry Cluster, specializing in the production of auto components. The company is an important link in Russia’s automotive industry and has earned the trust of the largest domestic car manufacturers due to consistently high product quality that meets international quality management standards. The main activities include design and production of hydraulic actuating braking mechanisms — rear drum brakes, vacuum brake boosters with master cylinders, steering rods and tie rods, machining of engine suspension parts, vehicle components, and transmission elements, welding and painting of pedal module systems and handbrakes.
As part of his visit to Tolyatti, Albert Karimov also visited AVTOVAZ JSC, the Detalstroikonstruktsiya enterprise, which produces fuel systems, exhaust systems, sound insulation and interior elements, and the SUMMATO enterprise, focused on the production of a wide range of cable products for key Russian auto factories. In addition, one of the main goals of the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia’s working visit was to participate in the annual international conference of AVTOVAZ suppliers, which includes VIS JSC. In his welcoming speech, Albert Karimov reiterated the key mechanisms of state support for domestic component manufacturers and the tasks facing the industry.

The course towards localization remains, and the requirements for it will increase; it is important to synchronize them with the actual pace of mastering component production. Our priority is critical positions that are not yet produced in the country or are produced in limited volumes. To systematically address this task, we focus on unifying the component base, increasing investments in R&D, and strengthening broad industry cooperation. At the same time, we are creating conditions to improve the quality and reliability of Russian components, enhancing the research, testing, and validation base, which will allow suppliers of various levels and scales to develop.”», he noted.
