The test voting before the State Duma elections in Moscow proceeded as usual. More than 740 thousand residents participated in it.

The test voting took place on August 28 from 08:00 to 14:00 online at elec.mos.ru and in 132 polling stations of the capital. It involved adult residents with permanent registration in Moscow. Traditionally, the majority of Muscovites chose the format of remote electronic voting.
The participation of Muscovites also allowed specialists to test the capital’s electronic voting system ahead of the elections to be held in Moscow in September 2026. The public trials of the system were organized for the first time in two years. They were successful and proceeded in normal mode.
Elections deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and municipal deputies of the Shchukino district will take place in the capital from September 18 to 20. Muscovites will be able to participate on the page online voting or cast their vote at polling stations.
