On August 26, the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering officially formalized partnership relations with the Union “Guild of Builders, Designers, Architects” by signing a cooperation agreement.
This cooperation opens up unique opportunities for our students for professional growth. Now the educational process will become even closer to market realities: experts and top managers of the guild member companies will share with students the secrets of building a business, introduce them to advanced technologies and current trends in the construction industry.
“We are focusing on practice,” notes the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Galina Tokunova. – Together with business representatives, our guys will delve deeper into the analysis of real cases, continue learning to make managerial decisions together with representatives of the construction sector, and, of course, will visit production sites to explore the “kitchen” of business processes from the inside. I am confident that such a tandem of theory and practice will help our students become in-demand specialists even before obtaining their diplomas.
The Union “Guild of Builders, Designers, Architects” is a professional business ecosystem that unites key players in the construction sector and organizations of related economic industries.
The guild is created to support and develop the interests of the business community in the Russian construction sector. It includes more than 7,300 organizations and institutions from many regions of Russia: self-regulatory organizations (SROs) operating in the construction complex, development and management companies, major developers, producers of construction and structural materials, manufacturers of equipment and construction machinery, as well as companies and experts in the fields of architecture, landscape design, and territory improvement.
