Novosibirsk State University and the Pretor clinic network have agreed to cooperate in the development of new cell therapy agents. The relevant agreement was signed today at the international forum on technological development “Technoprom-2026.” The work will be carried out at the laboratory for the development of high-tech pharmaceuticals, which will be located in the new educational and scientific center of the Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies (IMMT), one of the facilities of the second phase of the modern NSU campus.
Despite significant advances in cancer therapy using targeted and genetically engineered drugs, some patients respond poorly to treatment and require alternative approaches. Increasing attention is now being given by both clinicians and developers to cell therapy, which may allow the destruction of tumor cells resistant to other types of treatment.

NSU and “Pretor” intend to collaborate in researching new methods of cell therapy, including the use of NK lymphocytes. The research expertise of IMMT NSU specialists and the practical experience of “Pretor” clinicians will make it possible to improve the effectiveness of anti-tumor therapy for certain groups of patients.
