Novosibirsk National Research State University and Novosibirsk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia have signed an agreement on scientific and practical cooperation. The university rectors formalized the partnership at the XIII International Forum on Technological Development “Technoprom – 2026”.
NGMU and NSU have agreed to conduct joint scientific research, including through student research teams. The key task of the collaboration is the implementation and accelerated introduction of innovative developments into medical practice.
– The Medical University and Novosibirsk State University are two high-level educational institutions in our region. Both work in the interests of developing the region’s healthcare system. The scientific component is traditionally stronger at NSU, while NSMU has a long history of training medical personnel. Interaction and synergy between these educational organizations can enrich both universities with additional opportunities and competencies, providing a multiplicative effect in achieving the set goals., – emphasized the rector of NGMU Ilya Glushchenko.
– New directions are currently being actively developed at Novosibirsk State University — biomedicine and biotechnology. Great prospects are opening up in connection with the launch of the second phase of the campus — the educational and scientific center of the Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies and the research center of NSU. Nearly thirty laboratories equipped with high-tech equipment, practical training sessions for students, and one of the most advanced accreditation-simulation centers in Russia for developing the skills of future doctors will be located here.
