A Russian grocery store chain plans to create its own kitchen factory. For this, the company is investing in new industrial facilities. The project is being implemented with the support of the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support (MFPIES). This was reported by Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow.
“The implementation of the investment project with the support of the MFPPiP will allow Magnolia to increase its assortment from one to two thousand items, significantly boost the production volumes of ready meals and semi-finished products, and also meet the growing demand of residents of Moscow and the Moscow region for high-quality culinary products in neighborhood stores. One of the key directions will be increasing the share of healthy food products. The company’s new kitchen-factory is an example of how city mechanisms stimulate the development of modern food industry, contribute to the launch of high-performance enterprises, and provide consumers with quality food products,” said Anatoly Garbuzov.
The network includes more than 200 stores and supermarkets in Moscow and the Moscow region. The retail outlets offer a diverse range of products, including own-brand goods, and are also equipped with modern coffee zones.
“The project envisages the use of predominantly domestic equipment and Russian raw materials, which will contribute to the development of industrial cooperation and support for local manufacturers. The implementation of the investment project will increase turnover and provide additional tax revenues to the budget,” noted Sergey Chumichev, General Director of the Moscow Fund for Industrial and Entrepreneurial Support.
Moscow consistently supports the development of food industry enterprises. Previously, Sergey Sobyanin announced the launch modern industrial complex. It became the first proprietary production of the restaurant brand “Kofemania”.
Investment Lending Program The Moscow Fund for Industrial and Entrepreneurial Support provides for a compensation of 50 percent of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
