Special Economic Zone The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” is ramping up the production of high-tech equipment for kindergartens, schools, colleges, and universities. The site’s residents manufacture interactive panels, digital laboratories, laser machines, and educational kits. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry matters. Maxim Liksutov.

“By the order of Sergei Sobyanin, a modern base for the production of high-tech educational equipment has been established on the territory of the capital’s special economic zone. The products of the residents are included in the registry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the official list of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for the outfitting of Russian schools. Innovative developments are actively exported to other countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia,” noted Maxim Liksutov.

In July, Nex-T launched the country’s first robotic production line for liquid crystal modules. In the future, these may become the basis for interactive complexes and other equipment for schools. Today, the enterprise produces more than 45 types of devices. These include flagship interactive panels, monitors, all-in-one computers, children’s interactive tables, and projectors. More than 120,000 classrooms across the country are equipped with various interactive complexes from this resident.

The company “Scientific Entertainment” produces educational kits for preparing for final exams. For example, with the chemistry kit for ninth-grade students, children can independently carry out qualitative reactions to identify cations and anions, work with indicators, and master methods of separating mixtures and purifying substances. The physics kit allows assembling working electrical circuits, measuring free-fall acceleration, and testing the law of conservation of energy. Today, the resident’s products are supplied to educational institutions in more than 70 regions of the country.

The company “Lassard” supplies colleges and universities with robotic cells, as well as machines for laser cutting, welding, engraving, and marking. The company developed the “Laser Class” solution. Today, more than 240 high-tech enterprises operate across 10 SEZ sites with a total area of over 430 hectares. They represent strategic directions: microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics. The number of created highly qualified jobs exceeds 33 thousand.

Moscow is creating a foundation for the country’s technological sovereignty. Thanks to urban solutions and support measures, residents of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” are increasing the production of innovative products and expanding their presence in the markets.
