Presentation of the Exhibition of Young Artists from the LPR and Iran to Take Place at the A.S. Pushkin Library-Reading Room

At the A.S. Pushkin Library-Reading Room on August 25 at 16:00 will take place exhibition presentation “Art on the Wings of a Kite,” dedicated to children affected by military conflicts. The authors of the works are young artists from the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Admission is free by registration.

The drawings are made on kites. They are dedicated to the memory of children who died in Starobilsk (LPR) on the night of May 22, 2026, and the tragedy in the city of Minab (Iran) on February 28, 2026. The exhibition will also show guests a sculpture by Viktor Mikhalev, intended to preserve the memory of the children.

The event is planned to be attended by representatives of the Moscow City Duma and the capital Department of Culture, as well as museum staff, librarians, and students.

The program is organized jointly with the Culture Committee of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition will run until September 3. It has already been presented at the “Unique Russia” exhibition-forum at the Central Exhibition Hall “Manezh”, as well as at the Murano and Grebnevo estates.
