More than 1 billion rubles have been allocated from the Cabinet’s reserve fund for the renewal of ambulance vehicle fleets in the regions. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Using federal funds, 196 Class B ambulances of domestic production will be purchased. They will then be delivered to 18 regions that are most in need of such support. These are the Republics of Altai, Buryatia, Karelia, Mari El, Khabarovsk Krai, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Kursk, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Yaroslavl, and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast.

“Thus, we will support the renewal of the ambulance fleet in many regions, which will improve the level – and, importantly, – the timeliness of emergency medical care on site,” emphasized Mikhail Mishustin at government meeting on August 20.
