Moscow specialists are reconstructing healthcare facility buildings in the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. Sergey Sobyanin reported this on his channel on in the messenger “Max”.
Since 2022, under agreement with the governments of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, the capital
specialists “They are restoring residential buildings, hospitals, engineering networks, and arranging public urban spaces — all according to Moscow standards,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

In particular, in recent years, a polyclinic, two hospital buildings—the outpatient and the women’s consultation—and the sterilization department building of the children’s clinical hospital have been modernized in Luhansk. In the city of Shchastia, specialists from the capital restored the hospital.
In Donetsk, three buildings of the city’s largest medical facility were renovated: the polyclinic, the diagnostic center, and the cardiology surgery department.
In 2026, a four-story hospital building with a total area of 3,780 square meters is being renovated in Luhansk. Capital city specialists will restore the load-bearing structures, repair the roof and façade, and replace windows, doors, and floors. Additionally, they will comprehensively modernize engineering communications, ventilation, and air conditioning. Special attention will be given to replacing the medical gas system.
The hospital will have a full-fledged emergency department and a modern operating unit. Comfortable conditions will be created here for doctors to work and for treating patients.
Moscow specialists will also carry out landscaping of the adjacent area of 1.2 hectares. All work is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
