At Library No. 41, there will be a meeting of the poetry club “Cherish Your Friends,” dedicated to the work of poet, prose writer, and publicist Rasul Gamzatov. The event is timed to coincide with the author’s birthday.
Participants will read the poet’s poems, discuss his creative path and contribution to national literature. Guests will become acquainted with works written in the Avar language that have gained wide recognition thanks to translations into Russian, and will also learn about the significance of Rasul Gamzatov’s creativity for the culture of Dagestan and the entire country.
