In the first half of 2026, Moscow enterprises launched a number of innovative developments aimed at achieving technological sovereignty for the entire country. Sergey Sobyanin reported this on his channel in the messenger “Maks”.
“In half a year, the capital has introduced several high-tech unique developments. Under the pressure of sanctions, these are very important achievements. Innovations strengthen the technological sovereignty of our country,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Thus, the Proton plant, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” has developed a quantum sensor for space research and a mini-shuttle for transporting cargo from orbit to Earth. The quantum sensor is capable of detecting the tiniest particles. With its help, scientists will be able to study the processes of cosmic dust formation, which is becoming an increasingly serious risk factor for missions. The mini-shuttle is a compact and economical new type of device. It can launch from orbital stations and small satellites, and then automatically return to Earth with useful cargo.
The Scientific and Technical Center “Module” presented a small spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth — MKACubeSat 16U. The uniqueness of the satellites lies in their high performance due to the ability to store and compress large amounts of data directly on board.
The company “Orbitek” has presented a propulsion system based on a plasma engine. It is designed for efficient operation of satellites weighing over 200 kilograms in Earth’s orbit. The system uses two types of propellant gases — xenon and krypton, with krypton being ten times cheaper than xenon. This approach helps reduce operating costs when using the system in multi-satellite constellations.
Another resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ — IntechPro — has established the production of modern computer technology. This includes printed circuit boards, personal computers (PCs), mini-PCs, laptops, and all-in-one computers created using Russian electronic components. The company plans to produce 18,000 all-in-one units annually, 30,000 personal computers, as well as components.
“HiTek,” a resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow,” has created the first domestic compact neural network accelerator LinQ HX. The device is based on a Russian microprocessor and is designed for use in robotics and smart city systems. The advantage of the development is complete independence from foreign components and licenses, which enhances the security of urban infrastructure.
Resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow,” the company “Neoros,” has launched industrial production of high-speed equipment for 5G networks — optical transceivers based on photonic integrated circuits, which are manufactured in Moscow within the special economic zone.
“Sputnik Technopolis” (“R-Pharm”), a resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow,” has started producing a unique pharmaceutical drug used in the treatment of 13 types of oncological diseases.
Another resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ — R-Opra (R-Pharm) — has registered and started producing an innovative drug based on a synthetic analogue of vitamin D. It is intended for the treatment of severe forms of chronic kidney failure.
“Diagnostika-M,” a resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow,” has launched serial production of the first modular microfocus X-ray devices in Russia. They are designed for industrial product inspection, allowing diagnostics and detection of microdefects without damaging the sample.
“TZMOI”, a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, has opened the only full-cycle factory in the country for the production of disinfecting and sterilization equipment of its own design. The enterprise manufactures steam sterilizers and disinfection-washing machines for hospitals and laboratories.
In addition, the Moscow shipyard launched the first four electric vessels of the innovative project “Moscow 1.0”.
The Microdevice Research Institute, a resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone, has started producing modern LED devices for civil aviation, fleet, and space technology. The products operate for tens of thousands of hours without the need for lamp replacement and consume less energy.
Another resident of the Special Economic Zone “Technopolis Moscow” — “Nex-T” — has commissioned the first robotic production line in Russia for the mass production of LCD display modules. These modules are used in aviation, railway and urban transport, automotive manufacturing, industrial automated systems, medical equipment, banking and elevator equipment, telecommunications and computing technology, educational solutions and government sector systems, as well as in the production of consumer electronics.
In addition, “Moskvich” and “EM Rus,” a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, have launched the production of UMO electric vehicles for the capital’s taxi service and consumer market.
