Specialists urban infrastructure complex a new sports cluster was set up in the Severnoe Butovo district in the southwest of the capital. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov.
“In the new space, local residents of different ages and different levels of fitness can engage in outdoor sports,” noted Petr Biryukov.
The sports cluster appeared on a previously vacant site. Here, a football field with a four-meter perimeter fence, a multi-purpose court for basketball and volleyball, a table tennis area, strength and cardio equipment, and a “Russian Ninja” complex were set up.
A running track with an injury-safe surface was arranged around the sports areas. Green plants were planted. Lamps with energy-efficient lighting were installed to make evening workouts comfortable.
Last year, modern sports cluster appeared in the Butovo forest park between Akademik Glushko Street, Novobutovskaya Street, Polyany Street, and Novobutovsky Drive.
