From January to July 2026, the city allocated more than 77 hectares of land in 11 administrative districts of the capital for implementation large-scale investment projects (MIP). They cover a wide range of areas—from commercial real estate to social and industrial facilities. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

“Large-scale investment projects are one of the key tools for city development. They allow for comprehensive transformation of large territories: simultaneously creating housing, jobs, social and transport infrastructure, thus forming fully functional districts. Thanks to this form of cooperation between the city and investors and developers, modern and comfortable infrastructure is effectively created, and residents gain access to necessary services. From January to July 2026, the city allocated more than 77 hectares of land for 36 new large-scale investment projects across 11 administrative districts. The leased plots will serve as sites for the creation of modern jobs, development of industries, and construction of social facilities,” said Vladimir Efimov.

MaIP status can be granted to projects aimed at improving urban infrastructure. These include educational, healthcare, cultural, and sports facilities, as well as public and business spaces, new roads, and industrial enterprises.

“The largest number of projects — eight — are being implemented in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts over an area of about 25 hectares. Six facilities on areas exceeding 9 and 17.5 hectares are planned to be built within the framework of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MaIP) in the Central and Northwestern administrative districts. Another four projects will be carried out in the western part of the capital, three each in the southern and southwestern districts, two each in the eastern and northern districts, and one each in the northeastern and southeastern districts,” she specified.

Ekaterina Solovyova, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of City Property.

Thus, in the Eastern and South-Western administrative districts, investors were provided with three plots totaling about six hectares for the construction of an educational complex, a school, and a preschool institution, where 2,200 schoolchildren and 550 kindergarten pupils will be able to study.

In the northeast, in the Otradnoye district, the city provided the investor with about 0.5 hectares of land for the implementation of the MaIP for the construction of a production facility. The lease agreement was concluded at a preferential rate of one ruble per year, which will be valid throughout the entire construction period.

Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin spoke about completion of construction complex for the production of ready meals on Ryabinovaya Street within the framework of MaIP.

The construction of social facilities in Moscow aligns with the goals and initiatives of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. More details about Russia’s national projects and the capital’s contribution can be found at special page.
