Beijing, August 18 /Xinhua/ — China congratulates President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia on his re-election, said Lin Jian, an official spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, on Tuesday.
At a recent press briefing, Lin Jian stated that China attaches great importance to developing relations with Zambia and is ready to cooperate with the new Zambian government to further deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperation and partnership between China and Zambia and to ensure even greater benefits for the peoples of both countries.
