At the republican conference of educators held on August 13 in Naberezhnye Chelny, KAMAZ presented new career guidance projects. Zhanna Khaliullina, Deputy General Director of the company for personnel management, organizational development, and corporate governance, introduced a virtual simulator for Russian schoolchildren, a platform for the vehicle’s “artificial vision,” engineering classes, a modern equivalent of the vocational training center, and a guidebook for children.
The traditional meeting of workers in the education and science sector of Tatarstan took place at the Masterovye Theatre. The annual conference was attended by the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairwoman of the State Duma Committee on Education Irina Belykh, heads of ministries and agencies, city and district leaders, and representatives of educational institutions. At the Masterovye Theatre venue, an exhibition “Education System of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny – a Territory of Opportunities and Development” was held, showcasing Chelny projects and achievements in this field.
The projects at the “KAMAZ” booth were presented by Zhanna Khaliullina, Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, and Corporate Governance. She noted that the automotive giant has created an entire ecosystem for education and youth career guidance. “All the work we do with the support of the republic and federal programs yields results. We are a forge of personnel for mechanical engineering. The ecosystem formed by KAMAZ together with schools, universities, and secondary vocational education creates a powerful future and a foundation for the development of the region’s mechanical engineering.”, – emphasized Zhanna Khaliullina.
The President of Tatarstan at the KAMAZ booth first drew attention to the new colorful career guidance album-guide for children “The World of Automobile Engineering with Tosya and Senya.” It tells about the world of automobile engineering and factories. This year, all first-graders in Naberezhnye Chelny will receive it. Rustam Minnikhanov asked whether the album exists in electronic form and instructed the Minister of Education, Ilsur Khadiullin, to make the album accessible to all schoolchildren in the republic together with the auto giant and to use it as an example for other industries.
Among the first projects, Zhanna Khaliullina presented engineering classes established in 12 schools of Naberezhnye Chelny. In 21 classes, the city’s schoolchildren study “Innovative Automotive Engineering,” gaining the basics of the profession and advanced knowledge in natural science subjects such as physics and chemistry. This project is being implemented by KAMAZ in cooperation with the Advanced Engineering School “CyberAutoTech.”
Another project is a virtual simulator for the profession of “CNC machine tool and manipulator operator” on the Russian Ministry of Education’s platform “Profigrad.” “About 500 thousand children from all over the country have already completed this simulator and learned about the profession. It is available online to everyone and is in great demand. We will develop it further and think about what other profession we can present.”, – shared the plans Zhanna Khaliullina.
The third direction is training schoolchildren in the profession of “auto mechanic” at the corporate training center of MCPC. The course is organized for students of grades seven to nine of school No. 42; in the first year, 22 people completed it. Once a week, the schoolchildren come to MCPC, acquire real skills, get acquainted with additive technologies, computer vision technology, programming, robotics, etc. “This is analogous to the training and production complexes (TPC), which used to be popular in our country when schoolchildren received their first profession. It is in great demand. We hope to increase the number of participants. We also want to develop this project in collaboration with our Potashov Technical College.”, – said the top manager of PJSC KAMAZ.
The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Korobchenko, noted that the format of the UIC needs to be revived in the republic; he appealed to Rustam Minnikhanov for support and received an affirmative response.
The Rais of Tatarstan was offered to try an innovative platform. This is the “Constructor” project, launched together with the “Quantorium” center. Specialists have developed platforms that model the “artificial vision” of a car. Children can use them to design intelligent systems for the cars of the future.
“Overall, in the past year we have managed to reverse the trend of children leaving the city. Already 95% of ninth-grade graduates and 35% of eleventh-grade graduates choose Naberezhnye Chelny for continuing their education, living, and development,”– she concluded Zhanna Khaliullina and thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his support. The republic’s head noted the contribution of “KAMAZ” and recommended that government members support the development of career guidance projects.
