“KAMAZ,” together with its official partner – the NPO “Transmaster” plant (Miass city) – has launched a new model of the fuel tanker truck onto the market. The special vehicle is built on the basis of the all-wheel-drive chassis of the K5 generation KAMAZ-65958.

The new product is designed for transportation, short-term storage, and refueling of equipment with light petroleum products (diesel fuel) in off-road conditions. The vehicle is based on the all-wheel-drive chassis of the newest generation K5 KAMAZ-65958, whose serial production started in 2025. This chassis model (8×8) with a long frame measuring 9.4 meters was created for superstructures and special equipment, for example, for operation at oil and gas fields. The vehicle is equipped with a modern economical KAMAZ R6 engine with a power of 560 hp and a 16-speed manual gearbox, which together provide excellent dynamic performance and low fuel consumption.

The updated cabin with a four-point spring suspension and a sleeping berth guarantees increased comfort for the driver even when working on challenging terrain. The cabin frame is reinforced and, in terms of strength characteristics, surpasses modern safety requirements. Additionally, the safety of the vehicle is enhanced by LED headlights and fog lights, as well as modern electronic systems EBS and ASR.

The tanks of the “suitcase” cross-section are made of high-quality carbon steel 09G2S. To increase durability, reinforcement is applied: the shell thickness is 4 mm, and in the areas of armor plates and supports, it reaches 16 mm and 12 mm, respectively. For safe fuel transportation under challenging road conditions, a system of transverse and longitudinal baffles is installed inside the tanks to stabilize the cargo mass and prevent the vehicle from swaying when driving off-road. The tank is divided into three compartments and has a volume of 24 cubic meters. For the safe operation of personnel, there is a metal non-slip servicing platform on the tank with foldable handrails, as well as a ladder with non-slip steps and an automatic lifting mechanism, painted using powder coating technology.

The new fuel tanker truck based on the KAMAZ-65958 fully complies with all ADR requirements (the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road).
