Taipei, August 9 /Xinhua/ — Typhoon Dolphin passed through the waters north of Taiwan on Sunday, causing hundreds of natural emergencies, resulting in six people being injured.
According to information from the local disaster response center, as of 2:00 PM on Sunday, 632 incidents were registered across Taiwan. These include fallen trees, damaged roads and tunnels, fallen transport containers, and rockfalls along highways.
The circulation of air in the outer zone of the typhoon caused powerful winds and intense precipitation in certain areas in northern Taiwan. The local meteorological agency issued warnings of heavy rain and storm winds early Sunday morning. –0–
