Talented schoolchildren from across the country got acquainted with the work of the Rosmolodezh team, learned about current projects, and met with the agency’s leadership.
Participants of the “University Shifts” of the State University of Management visited the headquarters of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, where our university has a branch of the Department of State and Municipal Management.
A tour was arranged for the kids so they could see how the office operates from the inside, stroll through the creative space, and get acquainted with successful projects.
Representatives of Rosmolodezh provided a detailed account of the office’s activities and demonstrated that state support for young talents is a clear and transparent system, participation in which is accessible to everyone.
The highlight of the official part was the meeting with the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Associate Professor of the Department of “State and Municipal Administration” at GUU, Grigory Gurov, and his deputy Yuri Lezkin. The schoolchildren, many of whom are activists of the “Movement of the First,” were glad to see the former head of the movement in person and even ask him questions about the development of youth policy in the country.
Let us remind you that the first shift of the fifth season of the federal project “University Shifts” is taking place at GUU. This year, 50 schoolchildren from all over the country have come to us to experience being students for 10 days. During this time, the kids attended lectures and master classes from teachers, got acquainted with the landmarks of the capital, viewed a vintage car exhibition, and participated in activities organized by the “Movement of the First” and the VSKS.
More than 100 leading universities in Russia are participating in the project, which is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Movement of the First, Rosmolodezh, and SBER.
