For several years now, art pavilions of the project promoting local brands have been appearing in popular places in the capital. “Made in Moscow”. These colorful market spaces are opened as part of the city projects ‘Winter in Moscow’ and ‘Summer in Moscow’.

In the pavilions, visitors relax, take photos, choose gifts, get acquainted with Moscow brands, and learn about the city’s history. For producers, these places have become a tool for direct sales and venues where they can present their brand to a wide audience. This season, during the first month of operation, the art pavilions were visited by almost 200 thousand people. Residents and guests of the city purchased more than 45 thousand items.

Which pavilions are open this summer

The flagship art pavilion is located in Repin Square on Bolotnaya Square. It changes its appearance every season — from “Station” to “Summer Market.” It houses a food court and an open-air café, the main stage, a cinema, and areas for playing badminton and table tennis.

One of the oldest art pavilions is the “Samovar” at the beginning of Arbat Street. It has maintained its place for two summers and one winter. Here you can find goods with city symbols, clothing, accessories, tea sets, tea from the “Moscow Tea Party” project, as well as souvenirs from the “Moscow” brand, city theaters, museums, and the zoo. The pavilion is decorated in the form of the famous samovar “Moscow Bank.” It symbolizes Russian traditions and hospitality.

The “Cherry” pavilion is also open on Arbat. It features candles, textiles, decor, and home fragrances. Visitors can have a smoothie and enjoy seasonal berries.

At New Arbat, there is an art pavilion called “Box of Chocolates.” Here you can buy chocolates, tea and coffee blends, healthy sweets, lemonades, and gingerbread, as well as products from the “Moscow Tea Party” project and the “Moscow” brand, souvenirs, home goods, and books about the capital.

On Trubnaya Square opposite the Central Market, there is the “Air Balloon” with children’s goods, books, and educational games. At the “Refrigerator” on Tverskoy Boulevard this summer, they sell refreshing drinks, snacks, and branded Moscow ice cream of the BRandIce brand from the JSC “BRPI” factory.

In the art pavilion “Ice Cream Factory” at the Muzeon Arts Park, guests are also offered cold desserts. Here you can find ice cream in various flavors, snacks, and refreshing drinks.

The art pavilions are open daily — on weekdays from 10:00 to 22:00 and on weekends from 09:00 to 22:00. Up-to-date information about the operation of the venues and events at Bolotnaya Square is published on the official project website “Summer in Moscow”.

Art pavilions also operated in previous seasons. For example, in winter, Muscovites and visitors to the capital could visit the “Gift Factory” on Bolotnaya Square with a conveyor belt and a huge ice rink. In “Mandarin” on Arbat, New Year’s souvenirs and household goods were sold, in “Skates” near TSUM — clothing, accessories, and jewelry by Moscow designers, and in “Red Ball” on Rozhdestvenka, products for children were offered. At the “Train” pavilion near the main entrance to Gorky Park, warm winter accessories, decorative and care cosmetics, household goods, and painted gingerbread were sold. At the “Gift Factory” site on the embankment of the Museon Park of Arts, one could buy clothing, interior items, books, and souvenirs, including products from the project “Youth of Moscow“. There were also pavilions “Box of Chocolates” on New Arbat, “Balloon” at Trubnaya Square, “Samovar” on Arbat, and “Refrigerator” on Tverskoy Boulevard.

Last summer, several more pavilions opened in the capital. At “Berry” in the business center “Moscow-City,” you could eat strawberries and other berries, as well as drink lemonade and smoothies. At the “Clothing” area opposite TSUM, products from Moscow designers were showcased. At the “Beauty Bus” on Arbat, visitors could get acquainted with decorative and skincare cosmetics.
