Beijing, July 30 /Xinhua/ — Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Sierra Leone Foreign Minister Timothy Kabba exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
As Wang Yi noted, China and Sierra Leone have achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation across various fields, closely interacted and coordinated actions in international and regional affairs, setting an example of unity and cooperation between China and Africa.
Wan Yi expressed readiness to jointly with T. Kabba strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the foreign policy departments of the two countries. He also expressed willingness to facilitate the further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
