360 million rubles will be allocated from the Government’s reserve fund for the creation of centers for prosthetic and orthopedic assistance and rehabilitation in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Crimea, and Krasnoyarsk Krai. An order regarding this has been signed.

With the help of federal funding, new centers will open by the end of 2026 in Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, and Yalta based at institutions subordinate to the Federal Medical-Biological Agency.

They will provide comprehensive rehabilitation and habilitation services to citizens with disabilities, including participants of the special military operation (SMO).

Work is being carried out as part of the plan to establish a network of prosthetic-orthopedic and rehabilitation organizations in the regions in order to ensure accessibility of such assistance for people with disabilities. The Government was assigned to develop this plan by the President following a meeting with participants of the special military operation undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, held at the end of 2024.
