The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that sports is one of the priority areas of the regional leader’s work: “Today, together with you, we inspected the progress of the construction of the new running center, a facility awaited by the people of Kursk. In the Kursk region, more than 66% of citizens are involved in regular sports activities, a figure higher than the national average.”

He also added that under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality,” the region receives federal support for the development of tourist infrastructure within a unified subsidy. The allocated funds are used for beach improvement, the purchase of new tourist equipment, and the organization of event activities.

“Extremely grateful to Dmitry Nikolaevich for today’s work. We visited a large number of sites, including the Kursk fortress, where, by order of the President, a spiritual and educational historical and cultural cluster will be created, and held the second meeting of the organizing committee.
