An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.
1 When determining the maximum interest rate for each credit institution:
– the maximum interest rates on deposits available to any client (including potential ones) without restrictions and prior conditions are taken into account. Deposits for designated client categories (pensioners, children) and purposes (for social and humanitarian causes, etc.) are not considered;
– interest rates with capitalization on the deposit are not taken into account;
– rates that apply only when certain conditions are met (regular turnover on a bank card, a constant minimum balance on a bank card, etc.) are not taken into account;
– combined deposit products are not considered, i.e. deposits with additional conditions. Such additional conditions for accrual of an increased interest rate may include, for example, the purchase of investment units for a certain amount, opening an investment account, enrolling in an investment or life insurance savings program, connecting an additional service package, etc.;
– deposits with terms divided into periods with different rates are not considered.
The indicator of the average maximum interest rate is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the maximum interest rates of 10 credit institutions.
