China Intensifies Efforts to Promote Succession and Innovation in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Beijing, July 23 /Xinhua/ — China aims to promote continuity and implement innovations in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) within the framework of a new plan for the advancement and development of TCM, developed for the period of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) of the country.

The plan also provides for the improvement of the high-quality services system of TCM, enhancing the ability of TCM to provide lifelong medical care, and promoting the high-quality development of the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, among other priority tasks.
