Beijing, July 22 /Xinhua/ — During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), China plans to increase imports of advanced technological equipment, key components, energy resources, and high-quality agricultural products, while simultaneously diversifying source countries, said Sun Meijun, head of the General Administration of Customs of China, at a press conference organized by the Press Office of the State Council of China on Wednesday.

Efforts will be made to ensure more coordinated development of imports and exports, conduct negotiations and sign more trade cooperation documents, as well as promote the entry of high-quality goods from around the world into the Chinese market in order to share China’s broad market opportunities with the world, offering Chinese consumers a more diverse selection of goods, she noted.
