Washington, July 15 /Xinhua/ — American military forces carried out another series of strikes on Iran on Wednesday. This was reported by the United States Central Command /CENTCOM/.

“At 15:00 Eastern US time / 19:00 GMT /, American military forces launched the second wave of strikes against Iran, — the command’s message on social network X says. — The strikes target Iranian military facilities used to create threats to vessels freely passing through the Strait of Hormuz.”

Earlier that same day, the command reported that at 6:00 AM Eastern Time a series of strikes against Iran had begun. During the 90-minute attack, high-precision munitions were used to hit coastal defense systems as well as cruise missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island.
