Chengdu, July 16 /Xinhua/ – 6 people died and 11 others were injured as a result of a traffic accident in which a minibus went off the road and fell down a cliff in Sichuan Province /Southwest China/.

Local authorities reported on Thursday that the tragedy occurred on Wednesday around 6:00 p.m., when a 17-seat minibus carrying 17 passengers crashed into a road barrier and fell onto a river shoal in Baoxing County, administratively subordinate to the city of Ya’an.

All the injured were taken to the hospital for medical treatment, one of them is in serious but stable condition.
