The Bank of Russia on July 10, 2026, is introducing into circulation a modernized banknote with a denomination of 100 rubles of the 2026 issue.
The banknote is dedicated to the Central Federal District. The security features of the banknote and the design of the front side correspond to the 100 ruble banknote issued in 2022.
The reverse side of the updated banknote features a stylized image of the Central Federal District map, similar to the design of previously issued modernized banknotes of 5000 rubles from the 2023 series and 1000 rubles from the 2025 series.
The 100-ruble banknote issued in 2026 is a legal tender cash payment instrument within the territory of the Russian Federation, on par with previously issued banknotes of the same denomination, and must be accepted without restrictions on its face value for payment of any types of goods and services.
When using the material, a reference to the Press Service of the Bank of Russia is mandatory.
