Fuzhou, July 9 /Xinhua/ — A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Fujian Province /Eastern China/, several people were trapped or missing, local authorities reported
The fire broke out on Thursday at 12:04 at a factory in the village of Jiangtou in the town of Chendai, administratively subordinate to the city of Jinjiang, according to a statement from the city fire and rescue service.
Firefighting efforts continue, with fire trucks and ambulances present at the scene. Xinhua correspondents reported that rescuers have not yet been able to enter the building due to existing threats. -0-
