Financial News: Retail investors increased bond investments in June.

Against the backdrop of rising yields, citizens have increased their purchases of corporate sector bonds to a new peak of 162 billion rubles. This is significantly higher than their demand for OFZs and stocks. Corporate bonds remain the most profitable instruments in the Russian market since the beginning of 2026 and over the past 12 months.

In June, volatility increased across all segments of the Russian market, and trading volumes also rose. After several months of strengthening, the ruble returned to the average level of the past 12 months. Bond yields increased, primarily at the medium and long ends of the curve. This contributed to the growing attractiveness of long-term fixed-income instruments. Stock indices continued to decline.
