Beijing, July 8 /Xinhua/ — China called on the United States and Iran to fully implement the signed memorandum of understanding, resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiations, and refrain from the use of force, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Wednesday.

The resumption of the conflict does not serve the interests of either side, and military measures do not contribute to solving fundamental problems, a Chinese diplomat stated at the latest departmental press conference, responding to a question about the recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East. -0-
