The Student Sports Club of the State University of Management (SSC GUSsi) has received the highest “gold” status for the second consecutive year following the evaluation of applications in the All-Russian project “Certification of Student Sports Clubs” by the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia.
This year, out of 154 student sports clubs from across the country, the “gold” status was awarded to only 40 organizations. Our club met all 17 certification criteria, which once again confirms the high quality of its work.
“Confirmation of the SSC’s ‘gold’ status is further evidence that the university is following the right course in developing youth and sports policy. We see a steady trend: each year the number of applicants and students who strive to harmoniously combine academic training and sports activities is growing, and GUU creates all the necessary conditions for this.”
It is important that our work covers different levels of engagement: we support not only national teams and elite athletes but also mass sports, fostering a culture of a healthy lifestyle among students, faculty, and staff. For the university, this is not a separate project but part of the educational environment and corporate culture,” commented GUU Vice-Rector Vitaliy Lapshenkov.
