Employees of Rosfinmonitoring demonstrated their athletic skills at the celebration at the GUU.

The all-Russian military-patriotic event of Rosfinmonitoring, dedicated to the “Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia,” traditionally took place at the State University of Management and brought together employees from all departments of the organization.

The Director of Rosfinmonitoring, Yuri Chikhanchin, greeted those gathered and thanked them for their cooperation:

“With such a strong and united team, we have successfully completed the first 25 years, and I am confident that many more achievements and victories lie ahead of us. Let today, at the sports celebration, the main result be our unity and allied spirit. A strong friendship in our Service unites us and helps us move forward. I wish everyone success and a great mood!” said the director of Rosfinmonitoring.

Rector of GUU Vladimir Stroev noted that the event is not only a sports celebration but also a family one, and wished everyone victory.

“Traditionally, this annual celebration takes place at GUU. We have prepared everything for you so that you can enjoy the process and not think about unrelated matters. It is especially pleasant that everyone came with their families, because family is the most important thing in life,” concluded the rector of GUU.

Sergey Gusarov, Deputy Chairman of the Dynamo Society, called to gather strength and feel the spirit of unity; Alexey Stepanov, Chairman of the Veterans Council of Rosfinmonitoring, suggested seeking help from experienced professionals; and Ekaterina Kuzmina, Managing Director of Development at PJSC PSB Bank, noted that each of those present is already a winner and wished success in achieving goals both in sports and in life.

After the welcoming speeches, Sergey Gusarov presented the rector of GUU, Vladimir Stroe, with the Honorary Gold Medal of the Dynamo Society for his special contribution to the development of sports and the Dynamo movement.

At the conclusion of the ceremonial part, those gathered laid flowers at the memorial complex “Memorial Stone,” installed in honor of the students, staff, and faculty of the Moscow Engineering and Economic Institute (now – State University of Management), who died in the Battle of Moscow and on the Rzhev-Vyazma front line as part of the 7th Division of the People’s Militia.

The main part of the celebration was the sports competitions, which brought together teams from all departments. Employees competed in the following disciplines:

  • shooting with an air rifle;
  • grenade throwing;
  • throwing a ring at a target;
  • tug-of-war;
  • kettlebell jerk;
  • 3×3 basketball (streetball).

At that time, the children participated in the sports and entertainment program of the Balagan theater of giant puppets, completing tasks requiring agility, accuracy, courage, and wit.

In addition, a field kitchen operated throughout the day so that participants could replenish their strength with warm porridge.

At the end of the competition, the winning teams received medals from Yuri Chikhanchin, Vladimir Stroyev, and other honored guests.

It should be recalled that the State University of Management and Rosfinmonitoring have been implementing joint projects for many years, SUM is part of the International Network Institute in the field of AML/CFT, university representatives participate in the development of the Financial Security Concept of the Russian Federation, and students show high results in the International Financial Security Olympiad.
