Kyiv, July 4 /Xinhua/ — Nine people died and eight others were injured on Saturday in a road traffic accident in the Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine. This was reported on Telegram by the country’s State Emergency Service.
According to the agency, a collision between a minibus and a truck occurred on the Odessa — Melitopol — Novoazovsk highway. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
In 2025, 25,934 road accidents with casualties were recorded in Ukraine, resulting in 3,249 deaths and another 31,898 injuries.
