Caracas, July 3 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of Transport of Venezuela confirmed on Thursday that the railway transport in the city of Los Teques has resumed operation, which was suspended after the devastating earthquake that occurred in the country on June 24.
The Los Teques Metro, which connects the administrative center of Miranda state with Caracas, underwent evaluation and inspection before resuming its operation, the agency reported on its Instagram account.
The ministry also reported that the railway lines connecting Caracas with the Valles del Tuy region in Miranda state, and the Valencia metro, serving the third largest city in Venezuela, are also operating normally. Railway service in the country has been fully restored. –0–
