Moscow, June 30 /Xinhua/ — Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed bilateral trade, economic, and energy projects in a telephone conversation. This was stated in a message published on Tuesday on the Kremlin’s website.
“In line with the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan in May 2026, the current topics of further development of Russian-Kazakh relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance were discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of mutually beneficial bilateral projects in the trade-economic and energy sectors,” the statement says.
