Jiuquan, June 29 /Xinhua/ — On Monday, static fire tests of China’s reusable launch vehicle Zhuque-3 Y-2 were successfully conducted at the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone in northwest China, LandSpace, the private rocket company and developer of the rocket, reported.
During the tests, as informed by the company, a check was carried out of the missile system, the launch complex system, and their compatibility.
Next, the test team will begin preparations for the launch as part of the upcoming flight tests of the launch vehicle according to the schedule, the companies LandSpace added.
“Zhuzhuo-3” is a Chinese reusable launch vehicle operating on liquid oxygen-methane fuel.
