How to accelerate the commercialization of research results and attract industrial partners was studied by the Deputy Director of the Center for Space Research, Unmanned and Radio-Electronic Technologies of the HR University Dmitry Nikitin.
The scientist completed advanced training “From Science to Business: Development of Technological Entrepreneurship in Universities. Industries” in the field of “Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)”, where he presented the project “Development of a control technology for a swarm of UAS based on artificial intelligence for the effective implementation of group application scenarios.”
The key task of the training is to accelerate the commercialization of intellectual property results to a stage that allows concluding letters of intent with industrial partners and submitting grant funding applications.
The program reflects the key directions of the national project to ensure technological leadership in “Unmanned Aviation Systems”: development, standardization, and mass production of UAS and components; advanced technologies for UAS; infrastructure, security, and control systems.
Industry experts helped scientists and engineers transform technical parameters into business advantages, prepare the project for attracting investment financing, and develop a strategy for achieving profitability.
As a result, researchers will be able to successfully integrate science-intensive developments from universities into National Projects to ensure technological leadership.
The additional professional advanced training program is conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform, and MIPT in partnership with the Skolkovo Foundation.
