Beijing, June 29 /Xin Hua/ — A thematic exhibition dedicated to friendly exchanges between the peoples of China and the United States is being held at the Museum of Chinese Emigrant History in Beijing since June 27.
The exhibition presents 100 relics, including tools for gold mining, railroad spikes, agricultural implements, documents and newspapers, personal items of famous people, as well as badges from the era of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese invaders. The exhibition sheds light on the indelible traces left in the history of the USA by generations of hardworking Chinese diaspora, and the historical contribution they made.
The goal of this exhibition is to unite the hearts and minds of people for healthy, stable, and sustainable development of Chinese-American relations, as well as to promote sustainable development and strengthen the people’s friendship between the two countries, the organizers said. -0-
