More than 60 billion rubles will be additionally allocated from the Cabinet’s reserve fund to support the program of preferential lending to farmers. Such orders were signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.
The allocated funds allow benefiting from a preferential interest rate on more than 41 thousand previously issued loans for the production and processing of agricultural products, as well as for the production of medicines for veterinary use, feed and food additives, enzyme preparations. Financing was provided for short terms, and within the framework of long-term investments.
“We calculate that such measures will help maintain the sustainability of the economy. And high-quality domestic food products will remain available to Russian citizens,” noted Mikhail Mishustin at the Government meeting on June 25.
In the federal budget for 2026, more than 165 billion rubles are allocated for preferential lending to agricultural producers and processors of agricultural products. Support is provided within the framework of the state program for the development of agriculture.
