Eight teams participated in the top league of the student competitions. The team of the Polytechnic University became the champion, winning six victories. Thus, the polytechnic students ended the decade-long winning streak of the N.G.U. named after P. F. Lesgaft and SPbSPUHTD.
The football season concluded at the “Nova Arena” stadium in the Kalininsky district of the city. The second place was taken by the SPBGUPTD team, and the bronze was awarded to NGU named after P. F. Lesgaft.
Among the individual award winners of the Premier League, politicians also stood out:
- Artyom Tereshchuk — the best player;
- Stepan Verbitsky is the best coach;
- Vsevolod Bobrov and Arseny Donskoy — the best scorers.
