“KAMAZ” is participating in the annual conference “Digitization of Industry,” which is taking place today, June 25, at the IT Park in Naberezhnye Chelny.
“Industrial Digitalization” is an industry platform organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Tatarstan and the IT Park. “KAMAZ” acted as a software partner of the event. The conference is attended by more than 300 heads and IT directors of large industrial enterprises, representatives of government authorities. The minister of digital development of public administration, information technology and communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilya Nachvin addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
The main goal of the meeting is to exchange requests and find solutions for specific industry tasks. The conference program is structured according to levels of digital maturity within Industry 4.0 – from basic automation to predictive analytics and AI. Representatives of industrial enterprises shared their experience in implementing solutions at their productions. Thus, within the framework of the conference, their cases were presented by KAMAZ, State Corporation ROSATOM, Tatneft, GC Tsifra, Positive Technologies, MTS, and others.In particular, the director of the department – the chief designer of digital design systems of PJSC “KAMAZ”, Aleksey Purtov, gave a report on the topic “Digital twins of automotive technology.” In addition to the business program, the organizers prepared an exhibition of IT solutions for industry and an outdoor exposition, where high-tech flagship KAMAZ automobiles of the K5 generation are demonstrated. A tour of the “KAMAZ” Visit Center is also planned for the participants.
In addition, in the second half of the day, the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation visited the industrial facilities of the auto giant. The head of the department, Ilya Nachvin, inspected the cabin frame factory and the automobile plant, where he familiarized himself with the finishing process of assembling KAMAZ trucks. At the visit center, guests were demonstrated the company’s digital products: the monitoring and analytics system for production equipment “Signal”, the “Chelnok” service, and other projects. Negotiations with the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation on the issues of industrial digitalization were also held here.The business meeting was attended by the Deputy General Director – Director of Development of PJSC “KAMAZ” Eldar Shavaliev, Director of the Center for Information and Communication Technologies “KAMAZ” Yuri Shostak, and other executives.
