Beijing, June 25 /Xinhua/ — China and the United States have reached an agreement to establish a trade council, within which economic and trade teams from both sides will discuss cooperation issues, including mutual tariff reductions. The Ministry of Commerce of the PRC announced this on Thursday.
Economic and trade teams from both sides will hold further consultations on this issue, an official representative of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, He Yadun, said at the latest press conference.
Trade cooperation between China and the USA in the field of aircraft and agricultural product sales is of a mutually beneficial and win-win nature, noted He Yadun, adding that the teams from both sides continue to maintain communication, encourage and guide enterprises of these countries to strengthen ties and expand trade cooperation in the corresponding fields.
