In the Moscow region, reconstruction of the section from the 66th to the 84th km on the federal highway M-1 “Belarus” continues. As of today, the overall technical readiness is 95%, Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin reported.

Thanks to this, we are creating comfortable conditions for freight and passenger transportation, including residents of adjacent settlements who will have a convenient exit to the high-speed highway. As of today, 600 people and 200 units of special equipment have been deployed at the facility.
Specialists are installing barrier and mesh fences, carrying out reclamation of the drainage strip, applying horizontal markings, installing necessary road signs, and performing landscaping activities. In addition, construction and installation work continues on one overpass and six above-ground pedestrian crossings. Previously, two bridges were built over the Nara and Kapanka rivers and three overpasses.
According to the chairman of the board of the state company “Avtodor” Vyacheslav Petushenko, close attention is paid to ensuring road safety.
More than 47 km of barrier fencing and over 34 km of monolithic parapet fencing have been installed in the dividing strip so far, and frame supports for organizing road traffic have been set up. The same section will be equipped with an automated traffic management system, which will allow controlling the road situation. To enable drivers to stop safely on the way, a rest area is being arranged at the 74th km. Almost all work has been completed there: the territory has been landscaped, and trees have been planted.In addition, work continues on the repair of the cultural heritage site – the “T-34 Tank” monument, located on the same kilometer of the highway heading towards Moscow.
