Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov summed up the results of the first season of the “Rosmolodezh.Grants” competition and congratulated the winners. The competition is held within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children” and is aimed at supporting initiatives of young people aged 14 to 35. The list of competition winners was published onsite Rosmolodezh.

“There are many active, capable young people living in our country who strive to make life in their regions even better. This season, 710 socially significant projects will receive funding totaling about 500 million rubles. The competition united young people from the most diverse regions of the country. Most of the winners are from Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Saratov regions, Karelia, and the Chechen Republic. 14 winning projects from Donbass and Novorossiya were supported with almost 6.5 million rubles.

For the first time in the history of the competition, a participant from the Republic of Abkhazia won with a project aimed at supporting participants of the special military operation, members of their families, and veterans of combat operations in the country.

“In the first season of the grant competition, the majority of winners were in the category dedicated to the development of the cultural and educational environment, youth employment, the promotion of sports and a healthy lifestyle, support for mentoring, as well as involvement in science and technology. Young authors present unique social practices that allow solving priority strategic tasks and expanding the range of opportunities for youth self-realization.””We are, in turn, ready to support the winners at all stages of the grant implementation, so that their projects can reach a qualitatively new level,” noted the head of Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov.
