An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.
Last year, as an annual survey showed, Russians more often used cash both for everyday payments and for savings. People stocked up on “live” money just in case they would not be able to pay by card due to the lack of Internet. Almost half of the respondents do not imagine life without cash at all.
At the same time, cashless payments continued to grow. Apologists of “digital” chose convenient services for themselves: debit cards remained the most in demand, more people began to pay via QR code through the Fast Payment System, and mobile and online banks took third place in popularity. In general, people value cashless payments for speed, simplicity, the availability of bonus programs, and cashback.
