Stockholm, June 23 /Sin Hua/ — Chinese company China Eastern Airlines on Monday resumed direct flights between Shanghai and the Swedish capital Stockholm after a six-year hiatus. The wide-body Airbus A330, which departed from Shanghai, arrived in the evening at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
Then he headed back to Shantou Airport Pudong with more than 250 passengers on board, marking the official resumption of the route.
Flights will be operated three times a week — on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the airline reported. The resumption of direct service should reduce travel time and increase the convenience of flights between China and Sweden. –0–
